Quaker Action Groups (Click images to visit the organisation's website)
Quakers have a long tradition of seeking to make a difference to the world in which they find themselves.
Quakers In The World is an inspiring database of Quaker people and Quaker action down the years. Also, through the discussion forum, it acts as a focal point for exploring new ideas and initiatives. |
Living Witness supports Friends in developing our sustainability witness. The range of resources include a regular newsletter earthQuaker, policy briefings and guides for study groups and for personal and collective action. The group holds regular national gatherings and summer schools. They also offer advice, talks and facilitated events for Quaker meetings.

Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW) is the central peace and service department of British Friends, and represents them at national level on issues of peace and social justice. It facilitates dialogue to build greater understanding of these issues, and disseminates outcomes and ideas. A current concern is the renewal of Trident, which QPSW is actively campaigning against.

The Quakernomics blog is a forum for discussion and debate about the relationships between economics, our lives, and the planet. It is a space to both reflect on and plan ways to build a more just and sustainable world. It has been set up by Quaker Peace & Social Witness (QPSW) as a space for Friends and others to share ideas, debate, learn and be inspired to take action.
